Company Profile

Alto-Hartley was established in 1955 as a food service equipment dealer supplying equipment to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Through the early years Alto developed into the preeminent dealership in the Mid-Atlantic area as the market grew and became more diverse.

Currently we remain the most competitive food service equipment company in the region. Alto is unique in that the Project Manager is involved in your project from start to finish. This includes specifying equipment, estimating, purchasing and managing through the installation of your project. This allows us to become intimate with your needs and preferences and provides a single point of contact for any questions or issues that may arise as the project progresses.

We have completed many projects ranging from $100,000 to $2.5 million and are extremely active in pursuing negotiated projects. One of our strengths is our national network of custom stainless steel fabricators, warehouses, and installers which provides us the ability to successfully complete projects anywhere in the country.
